Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

In addition to helping our clients achieve their objectives in a professional and positive manner, our associates are very active in supporting local charities and other worthy causes in the community. In particular, we do a significant amount of fund raising for our nationally recognized charity called the  Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, which helps provide funding for local women’s shelters and supporting violence prevention programs both in our communities and across the country – one community at a time.

Royal LePage Canada started the Shelter Foundation in 1998, based on a fundamental corporate commitment to improving the communities where we all live and work. This amazing charitable foundation is dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and supporting violence prevention programs across Canada and it has experienced tremendous growth since its inception. Every dollar raised for the Shelter Foundation goes directly to helping the more than 30,000 women and children who are served each year by the community shelters and related support programs in Canada. To date, the Shelter Foundation has raised more than $20 million and currently supports over 200 local women’s shelters and national partners.

Every year, Royal LePage agents across Canada donate a portion of their earnings to the Shelter Foundation and our network of affiliated offices organize community fundraising events on an annual basis, with brokers, agents and staff all volunteering in support of women and children residing in local shelters. Key annual fundraising events include the “Royal LePage Garage Sale” and the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” campaigns.
